Trafficking from A-Z Seminar
Description
Students, faculty, and staff of Indian River State College are invited to attend a powerful seminar on trafficking at the Bailey Auditorium, located in the Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex.
The event is hosted by Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Honor Society, and the Criminal Justice Club as part of their Distinguished Speaker Series. This seminar tackles trafficking in all its forms—human trafficking (both sex and domestic labor), drug trafficking, and counterfeit goods.
Sessions will run 45 minutes each, followed by a 15-minute Q&A, giving attendees the chance to directly engage with experts who deal with these issues every day on the Treasure Coast. Florida currently ranks 3rd in the nation for human trafficking and is consistently among the top five states for drug trafficking.
Whether you’re studying criminal justice, healthcare, education, business, or simply want to be better informed, this seminar has something for everyone. Join us as we hear from those who work directly with victims and perpetrators in our own backyard. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, connect, and be part of the conversation.
