Fall 2024 Dual Enrollment & Career Pathways Information Session - Massey Campus
Description
IRSC’s Office for Student Success invites you and your student to attend an upcoming Dual Enrollment & Career
Pathways Information Session to learn more about two exciting accelerated educational opportunities.
Dual Enrollment is an educational opportunity that allows your student to begin their college education at no cost to you while earning credits toward high school graduation requirements. Students who meet the minimum
placement requirements and have a 3.0 unweighted GPA (based on four high school credits), may be eligible to participate in Dual Enrollment courses that lead to an Associate Degree. Students who have a 2.0 unweighted GPA (based on four high school credits), may be eligible to participate in a Career and Technical Educational program at IRSC that leads to a certificate.
The Career Pathways program allows your student to take Career and Technical Education courses at their high school that lead to articulated college credits at IRSC. (e.g., culinary, business, health science, graphic design, and much more). Students who complete a Career Academy and graduate from a high school within St. Lucie County, Indian River County, Okeechobee County, Martin County, and Marion County school districts can receive college credits upon enrollment at IRSC, as early as the Fall semester after graduation.
